My First AI Prompt was about a Fisher-Part 2

How Do We Ask a Sharper Question?

There are thousands of YouTube videos, LinkedIn posts, Medium articles, blog posts, and courses-all trying to teach you how to write the perfect prompt.

  • Some say use frameworks.
  • Some say mimic copywriters.
  • Some say just “talk to it like a person.”
  • But nearly all of them are obsessed with the input box.
  • Not the thinking behind the question.

The Real Breakthrough?

It came when I stopped asking what to prompt…
…and started asking why I was prompting at all.

"The AI Business Founders Hive didn’t just teach me how to prompt-it taught me how to think through the problem in front of me."

That changed everything
It wasn’t about stacking keywords.
It was about shifting the question from: “What should I ask the model?” to “What do I actually want to understand or unlock?”

As Laura from SuperHumans Life said in a recent video:

“Most people think the key to thriving in the AI economy is learning how to prompt. But prompting is just syntax. The real shift is someone who designs and implements outcomes with AI.”

That word-implement-is where most people freeze. They binge prompt tutorials, bookmark prompt libraries, and swap syntax hacks on Discord. But they never build the outcome. Because building means making choices. Defining results. Taking ownership.

Prompting is passive. Implementation is accountable.

A Russian Mobster’s View on Questions

A notional Russian gentleman I know-former mobster-once put it more directly:

“Shut your mouth and work. No phones. No email... First half of the day is for work.”

In his world, hesitation is death. Distraction is weakness.
He doesn’t ask how to do something.
He asks what must be done-and then does it.

That level of focus rewires your questions.

  • You stop being clever.
  • You start being dangerous.
  • You start being productive.

Action over Perfection

And here’s the hard truth: Even when you finally do ask the right question… it still won’t be perfect.

To quote Laura yet again:

“Sometimes moving forward means it’s not perfect-and that’s okay.”

By the time you realize it wasn’t perfect? You’re already halfway through the next iteration. That’s how progress actually works-with AI, with business, with everything.

The Fisher Returns

The Fisher, that elusive creature, didn't need me to trap it. It needed me to notice why I was chasing it. That’s what changed the game.

And that’s what changed how I use AI-not as a shortcut, but as a third hand-steady, capable, and fully part of the work.

Remember, sharper questions don’t just Feed AI-they sharpen you.
